MDA were asked to consult on another heritage project in the West Midlands and were subsequently commissioned to deliver the detailed design for the sensitive refurbishment and conversion of Harborne Hall in Birmingham into 13 new dwellings - a mix of 1, 2 & 3 bed apartments and duplexes.

The building has at various times been a a refugee's home, an auxiliary hospital, a boy's school, a catholic convent and also a multi-faith centre.
